Welcome to Torquay Coastal Drinks Ltd – Trading as The Coastal Distilling Co. (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the purchase of our products online. By placing an order or using our Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Company Information

We are registered as Torquay Coastal Drinks Ltd, and The Coastal Distilling Co. is a trading name in England and Wales. Our registered office is: 18-19 Victoria Parade, Torquay TQ1 2BB.

2. Age Restriction

It is an offence to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 in the UK.
By placing an order through our Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We reserve the right to request age verification and may refuse or cancel orders if proof of age cannot be provided.

3. Orders and Payment

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability.
  • Prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

  • Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. A contract is formed when we dispatch your order.

4. Delivery and Collection

  • For collection orders, valid photo ID may be required on collection to verify age.

5. Returns and Refunds

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds unless an item is damaged in transit.

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the damaged item.
  • Once verified, we will offer a replacement or a full refund.
  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 working days.

We cannot accept returns or issue refunds if:

  • Damage is reported more than 48 hours after delivery.
  • The product has been opened or consumed.
  • You change your mind after delivery.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

6. Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us immediately.
If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel and refund in full. If it has already been dispatched, our returns policy will apply.

7. Liability

We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of our Site or purchase of our products. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount paid for the product(s) in question.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including logos, text, and images, is owned by Coastal Distilling Co. and may not be reproduced without our permission.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Refunds & Returns Policy

At Torquay Coastal Drinks Ltd – Trading as The Coastal Distilling Co., we take great care to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition. However, as our products are alcoholic beverages, we are unable to accept returns or provide refunds unless an item is damaged in transit.

If your order is damaged on arrival:

  • Please email us within 48 hours with your order number and photos of the damage.
  • Once verified, we will offer a replacement or a full refund.
  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 working days.

We cannot offer refunds or exchanges if:

  • Damage is reported after 48 hours of delivery.
  • The item has been opened or consumed.
  • You change your mind after purchase.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
